I don’t advise you shoplift this is incredibly dumb and you will probably get arrested if ur low iq but here’s a protocol if you seriously need to shoplift. Used to work as loss prevention so ik what will work and what wont
1. Stores to avoid
Never shoplift from high security stores. These stores constantly have a loss prevention officer watching the cameras
- target
- walmart
- Nordstrom or any luxury store
You have virtually no chance of not getting caught
Something to know is getting caught doesn’t mean they’ll stop you at the door or they’ll chase you down. Usually stores just let people go with the items depending on how much they cost Because if they caught you rigtt he then and there all they’ll slap you with is a minor misdemeanor that can just easily get expunged or diversion. Plus a $5 box of candy isn’t worth hiring lawyers, doing a bunch of paperwork, etc etc. as they’ll just lose more money then they make
So they try to build a case on you until you reach the minimum of like 500-1000 then it’s a felony
Now imma show you multiple methods to shoplift
1. Fake tag method
Basically buy something legitimately that’s extremely cheap the cheaper the better if you can find a item worth 1 cent that’s perfect
Take it home and remove the label (th one you scan at self checkout)
Then use double sided tape and and attach the label (the scannable part should be facing away from the tape)
Conceal the label and go into a store and Find a item
Attach the fake label to the item and scan that instead of the real item
(That way on the cameras it will still look that you paid for the item)
Make sure to be very slick with the new label attachment.
So now you can buy $40 item for $1
Then just walk out of the store confidently receipt in hand. They almost never check ur receipt and compare it to items on the cart unless you act suspicious
2. Dressing room method
Basically take a bunch of items to the dressing room “try them on” but conceal small items underneath ur real cloths
Nowadays a lot of fitting rooms count how many items you have so to get around this just conceal more than one clothing in a larger item (don’t get caught on the camera concealing it you need some really good sleight of hand skills and know the camera angles)
You can steal like beanies small clothes small tees and other shit using this
3. Grab and run method
Legit just grab the item and dip.
Pretty good succcess rate but don’t this over and over at the same store or they’ll call the police as soon as you enter the store and ull get clapped
4. Apple AirTag method
Basically put a Apple AirTag onto a item “accidentally” throw it in the trash (really good if the store has trash cans in fitting rooms) wait a few weeks to months and then dumpster dive and find it
Employees rarely check what’s actually in the trash especially if you cover it up. They just take it out and toss it in the garbage usually at the end of the day
Very low risk and not technically shoplifting in a legal sense but you could get caught with destruction of property possibly if they catch you doing this
5. Fake return method
Buy something then find the same item on shelf then take it and get a return using the shelfed item
This won’t work on high security stores but if the store seems understaffed or just corner shops it is good chance it will work
Dont do this over and over at same stor
6. Fake money method
Just buy items with clone money. worst case scenario just run
Remember that no method will work at the same store over and over. Basically all stores monitor loss and profit. Maybe ull get Away 1-2 times but eventually they’ll notice how they randomly lose money some months without any transactions and eventually will catch u
Something to know about cameras though is it’s mainly just a fear tactic. There is rarely ever anyone actually monitoring store cameras unless it’s a high end store that can afford to pay people to just watch them all day. Their mainly just for diversion and/or playback in the case they do catch you
Heres a lesson if you do ever get caught
- DO NOT tell them your name or personal info
- DO NOT start pulling out a receipt or wasting time Or stop and talking to them. I was trained at loss prevention that anytime someone steals I try anything I can to keep them in the store as long as possible until police areive. Remember we are not your friend we don’t want to “let you off the hook”. If they tell you to step aside into the office or any of that shit they’ve already called the police. Ur best option is to literally just run. Theres not much they can do once ur out of the premise and 99% of stores dont legally allow employees to manually detain people
- always get away on a bike, not a car. If police arrive you have practically 0 chance of getting away on car and they can just take note of ur license plate. Road chases are the police specialty. However if you bring a bike you actually have a fighting chance of escaping because bikes can take quick turns go into places cars can’t (woods, allies, crevices, etc) not shoplifting related but I have gotten away from police before using a electric bike.
Now please note a bike won’t do shit if the area has no terrain and it’s just all roads around
Most importantly stop acting suspicious .
Suspiciousmaxxng is really the main mistake people make while shoplifting
- don’t be black (they train us to not look based on race but in reality everyone does Jfl. Black people statistically steal more)
- don’t wear a bunch of big clothing especially in good weather. The need to dress appropriate for thebweather
- don’t walk around in circles over and over
- don’t throw random unrelated items in cart
- actually check the item price before putting in cart
- don’t move too slow or move too fast
- don’t look around for cameras or people (use ur peripheral vision )
- don’t try to be in aisles by yourself. In fact it’s probably better to be in crowded aisles as we usually check isolated people over people in crowds
- don’t walk in store with backpacks and shit
- actually look like you have money. Don’t dress like a homeless man or a little kid
- act confident
- talk to employees and don’t avoid them
- actually use a cart
- don’t walk in with your middle school homies. If we ever see a bunch of kids walk in we are going to probably think their stealing
