Men are meant to have long legs, and a short & wide torso. Women should have longer torsos (in proportion). It looks so bad when a girl has a short torso.

Imo guys can have both, but keep in mind often times frame is shit with long legs because small torso = narrow shoulders. Longer torso often has width too

Exactly. Never seen a guy deliberately try to make their torso look longer. Only time short torso is bad is if it's narrow or the arms are short

All swimmers have longer torsos due to the sport, without swimming genetically speaking men should have proportionally shorter torsos

did you really fell for that myth? it's the other way around. only swimmers with a longer torso will end up becoming the best swimmers. because of the best swimmers having a longer torso we created an image in our head of swimmers in general having a longer torso, but in reality it's not the swimming that creates the long torso.

the majority of swimmers have a normal torso, but since they don't have the best swimming genetics they didn't become famous. just go to the local swimming pool and you will see old men who've been swimming since they were 10 years old and they have a normal and short torso.

Fair point, but you could also imagine it would (temporarily at least) decompress your spine due to weight not compressing on it and also the water drag "stretching" your torso. But yeah that's would make sense much in the same way playing basketball doesn't make you tall

both longer torsos and longer legs are attractive, but ideally men are 1:1 upper lower body, longer legs than upper body is only attractive in women, and is not a masculine trait, it is the opposite, and every piece of literature that exists on the subject agrees with this.
