you're completely forgetting about head posture. o'pry's ramus is just as long as pattinson's.

No it’s not. Pattinson’s reaches below his lips, O’ Pry’s doesn’t.

You can see the difference in front profile. O’ Pry’s jaw has less vertical projection than Pattinson’s.

If you’re going for a hypermasculine look, yes.

Most would consider it excessively long though. I’d say ideal is slightly below the lips like Pattinson’s. This is especially good if you’re going for a maesthetic look.

My ramus will be lengthened to long but my gonial angle is 125 due to chin height. Ah well...

That's right, and chin height determines slope of the mandible since thats what connect the jaw angle to the chin. I guess thickness of mandible body also comes into effect but only to heighten gonial angle (soul never thicken, only thin it).

Except that’s not always the case. High gonial angle doesn’t mean you’ll have a tall chin, and a low gonial angle doesn’t mean you’ll have a short chin.

I'm talking about jaw implant design here. I can lower or raise jaw angle and I can lower or raise chin height. I'm not going to say "give me 120deg gonial angle" and then have a random outcome on the chin height and jaw angles. Those should be determined independently and then the gonial angle is a byproduct. Nobody says "oh damn look at that 120deg angle" but they will notice jaw angles too low or high or chin height too low or high.

If you’re talking about what you’re going to request on an implant, fine. But, it’s incorrect to say that chin height dictates gonial angle. Slope of mandible does that.
