If you have a long philtrum and maybe also want a higher midface ratio, FWHR, and chin to philtrum ratio then you should consider a lip lift. it is really underrated here and im shocked more people dont do it here. just go to the right surgeon and cover the scar in some make up if it really bothers you, you can even get laser treatments to make it look better.

i used to think scarless lip lift was ideal but i did some research and it seems the bullhorn lip lift, the most common one that leaves a scar, is actually the best and is the most popular one for a reason. you can even do it in a way/request for the lip size to remain practically the same although thin lipped people often ascend from a bigger lip.

to all those scared of a scar, would you rather have some scar which is practically invisible especially if you rub a little bit of bb cream on it and just take care of your scar, under your nose? or have a long ass grinch tier philtrum like nocturnal kent. the blackpilled truth is that it is better to have a scar.

TLDR: get a lip lift if you have a long philtrum, low fwhr/midface ratio, mid chin to philtrum. it will increase your teeth show and give your face more balance. the scar can be managed and made practically invisible and its better to have one than to have some ugly long philtrum.

you're a knowledgable user i've been reseaching ways to shorten philtrum / midface lenght for years and there is something really off with most lip lift when you look at the face in its entirety it's hard to explain but the way most surgeon only pull on the middle part of the vermillon create an optical illusion of an heavier lower face who makes the midface actually look longer in contrast to preop .

and yet some results like the one you're showing do show great midface shortening results , i've seen another like that on reddit but it's crazy rare.

what's your opinion about lip flip ? it seems the key would be to somehow make the entirety of the upper lip bigger and not only lifting the middle like most bullhorn lip lift do .

but most surgeons are retarded anyway with zero eye for aestetic.

Was looking for a combination of a midface / french lift combined with that to pull up the soft tissue of the midface and create the illusion of midface shortening.

if you have a non existent upper lip you shouldnt think twice

Why the cwap cant i see any images 😡😡

can you tell me how does one measure mid face ratio? is it to the top of the upper lip or just middle of the mouth?

lip flip can look very uncanny/gay on men i think, especially with a bigger lip size like what i have

as for the lift ideas, i dont know, i havent been lift pilled yet and i believe theyre usually almost always a bad idea at a young age. probably should only be done if you're like 40+ or so. the lifts that make your jawline more defined though might be mogger.

can you show examples of lip lift making the midface look longer? i may have noticed that same thing too and yes, it is scary thinking that we could maybe get our faces lengthened even more from it potentially but shortening the face would be insanely mogger.

Lip lifts often looks great from the front, whilst the side gets messed up. Depends on the type of lip lift and how excessively its done.

pretty much every before and after bullhorn lip lift pic when they show the entire face if you look at it in its entirety even if the philtrum technically got shortened the midface do look longer weirdly than pre op. the case you showned do look really good tho not sure if lens distortion plays a role it looks too good to be true.

and she had no upper lip in the before unlike me so quite a good candidate

C SHAPE is ideal but you need to do USO before
do you know of any way to actually reduce the midface in term of visual soft tissue reduction and not only bones? thx

Can you please elaborate about the scarless lip lift actually being inferior to the bullhorn ?

CORNER LIP LIFT will also raise the corners/sides of the mouth and will prevent the issue you speak of, i believe.

the biggest concern we should realistically be having is 1. the scar, 2. the changes to nose, lip seal, and 3. just making sure everything else about the surgery procedure we do itself (can come down to luck, trying to not get botched)/surgeon is fine. 4. not looking gay ig

lateral commisuroplasty

A alternative way to improve lip aesthetics for anyone with smaller upper lips is through bimax. The incision made on the upper lip during a lefort 1 can also be stitched back together using a VY closure mimicking the effect of a minor lip lift.

You know that the scarless lip lift you referred to is a VY closure? Unless your philtrum is a giga failo lifting the upper lip gives the same effect as shortening the philtrum

let's see a single before after of a frontal view post bimax leading to philtrum shortening fr . Even the tons of surgeons i consulted were all vague af because rhey all know how unpredicable soft tissue can be when they retract.

the narrative on that forum that bimax with ccw or some secret movement can shorten soft tissue has to stop it's just not the case . most of the time you will end up with a longer philtrum

the not looking gay part is the biggest issue tbh.

another insanely good result i found where it looks like the entire mouth was lifted upward but i think it was mostly due to swdlling and lens distortion but still that's the type of lip lift we should pursue

Id rather look gay then have a 20 mm philtrum. if the upper lip dominates you can always use filler or fat transfer for the lower lip.

yes this is great, read the botched horror stories of ppl getting their face fucked by the surgery though. but i think with the right surgeon and being smart u should be fine and if u truly need it, its hard to descend from it.
