should i apply sunscreen to my eyelids?

its seems like people never apply sunscreen around the eye area, even though the eye area is the first area to show signs of aging with stuff like crows feet and sagging eyelids

you can and you should.

but use a sunscreen without endocrine disrupting hormones, either TinosorbS/Uvinal A+ or make your own, watch out for oxybenzone, octinoxate, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene and avobenzone.

I always apply it around the eye area and eyelids.

One the one hand, you want the skin around the eyes to be tanned evenly. That way you get a nice contrast between skin and the white of your eyes, which will accentuate light eyes a lot.

On the other hand, the eyelids are very thin so they tan and burn fast. After mt2 my eyelids are darker than the rest of my face, you want to avoid that.

I always see muthafuckas applying their sunscreen like this with their eyes untouched while in 3 layers of cumscreen and thought maybe I was just being weird. Good to know.
 
just wear sunglasses. found out sunscreen can irritate eye area better to avoid the lids.
