Should I ask a girl that's much taller than me out or should I just forget about it?

Hi fellow short brothers and sisters.
29M, 5ft 2, here.
So, I recently moved out of my family house to start studying again (Just having a High school degree wasn't making the cut).
Anyway, I met this girl, in my class, that happens to be around 5,11-6ft.
We get along pretty well, I can make her laugh, we help each other with school stuff and the conversations flow nicely when speaking with her.
Needless to say, I caught some feelings for her and want to ask her out.
I asked her friend if she's seeing/dating someone but she told me she doesn't know for sure but she hasn't seen her chat with other guys.

The question is, despite the huge height difference, should I ask her out?
I honestly don't mind It, I've gone out with girls taller than me in the past and all of my exes have been taller than me, but I'm scared she might (well, most likely, actually) say no.

I don't want to make things awkward, so I really don't now what to do.

Assuming she's truly different, and wouldn't exploit ur insecurities like most other foids, you should come clean and say that you're insecure about your height and the fact that most women wouldn't want to date a short man. Shell either date you out of pity, or if she doesn't, you can ask her how she feels about short men so you know if she likes them or not.
