Already made a post about this but the replies were pretty trash so here we go again:

I'm currently in high school trying to find a job asap to fund gear and every other reason money is valuable to me. I have school during the weekdays but spend my weekends free so it feels like a waste not to spend the time wageslaving in retail or resturaunts. I've been using indeed and other job recruiting sites but feel like its absolutely shit (30+ applications a day for a week and nothing back)

After getting no results I began lying on my resume that I worked for 3 months over the summer at a mexican resturaunt that shut down. I only have listed the name, adress, and my duties as a "Cashier/Dishwasher".

So when someone looking through my application looks the resturaunt up and sees it closed down and I dont have any previous employer contact info listed with it, I feel like that's maybe doing worse for me instead of just being honest and listing no previous work experience. Should I lie in a different, more creative way (listing a freind or family member as an employer and completly fabricating a job/claiming one that already exists at a corporate franchise) or what?

fake it till you make it

if you're just going for some low skill shit job you don't need to lie about shit, they hire anyone with a pulse. there is literally 0 chance you submitted 210 applications with 0 responses.

Eh not true its made made to my attention by other posts on here companies would much rather hire some 18-25 year old pajeet than a 16 year old innocent wittle white boi. Yeah the 210 was exaggerated but its still crazy the vast amount with no reply back

apply to a warehouse then, they're even more desperate and you usually get paid more. i've only applied to 4 low skill jobs in my life and every one hired me instantly, i don't even have a diploma.

I don’t want to be that guy but indeed is mostly cope. Go to restaurants in person, pretend to be poor so they can exploit you, and ask if they want help. It’s a good method. However working at restaurants fucking sucks it’s fucking terrible from experience try to get a job at a retail store if you can.
