No, your hair is fine. That's just a split in your hair, that's not even how balding works or looks

You can always check with a doctor but it looks more like you don't even attempt to style your hair + put on a cap + hotbox leeding to it getting strawlike and seperating after being pushed down.

Yeah lol. My hair is a lot more matted and coarse than usual today.

You're probably good it just looks like it's parted. Check that hairline, look for tiny hairs on your hairline. If tiny hairs start appearing there overtime it could mean you're receding.

But also what has fucked me over the most recently is thinning throughout all my hair. So just watch out for that aswell. Watch how many hairs you lose during showers too.

Compare your hairline now to older pics. My hairline was always shit so even 7 years ago it looked bad but the past 2-3 years it has been receding slowly and the past year or 2 my density has gone down I'd say.

It isn't bad idea to view a specialist if you can either.

It looks like the part. This definitely wouldn't be a typical pattern of MPB. The only other possibility is diffuse thining, but I don't think so. It simply looks like how you parted it.
