I don't understand the point of intermittent fasting anyways. I lost 41.8 lbs (25% of my body weight. 168.2 lbs -> 126.4 lbs) just by eating less calories and expending more calories (cardio every other day). If my stomach grumbled and I was over my allotted calories, I would just ignore it. And then my body got used to it very quickly. Losing weight mostly comes down to willpower. The tricky part is that you don't get to choose what weight you lose (body fat, muscle, water and where). Your body chooses for you.

I'm not an expert on bulking vs cutting. I'm twinkmaxxed right now. Thing is I had less starting muscle mass than you before I did a huge cut (25% of my body weight. 41.8 lbs. 168.2 -> 126.4 lbs). This is what I looked a week ago.

I've only recently started a clean bulk and put on 0.63 lbs (7-day running average) in 4 days.

Yeah my jawline is great right now @ 12% bf. But my body looks emaciated af. That's the trade off.
It's so weird how in my own thread, almost everyonere there was pro-bulk.
Yet the general direction in this thread is pro-leanmaxxing. lol.
Leanmaxxing has its downsides. I think OP is muscular enough to attempt a cut to 10% bf. But I don't think it's a good idea to leanmaxx if you have very little muscle to begin with. I was a fat ass who lived a sedentary lifestyle before I attempted my cut. If you are just a fat blob who doesn't lift, the best thing to do is to lift while eating calories in maintenance. To get an initial body recomp and newbie gains. I just made things a lot harder for myself cutting all the way down to 126.4 lbs. Because now I have to eat a bunch of calories ($$$) while lifting and pray not too much of it gets converted to body fat.
 
Also I find IF easier than just eating less
