should I cut before my first cycle?

Thoughts on doing a short aggressive cut to like 10% bf before a cycle of either LGD or test, not sure yet. I think I’m around 14% right now at 6 ft1 , 160lbs. I feel like it would push my weight, but it would be worth it to be shredded once I’m on cycle. Or is this just a stupid idea? (Repost cuz last thread died)

thx bro, u think a short cut wouldn’t even be worth it and it would be better after? my abs are barley visible and my vascularity is mid

Test is essential as a base, LGD can be an optional but unnecessary add on to it, they are not mutually exclusive whatsoever.

Reta prob isint even worth it? I imagine I have like a 6 week aggressive cut till 10%
 
No, this is not 14% body fat, no way. You are already in the 11-12% range. Yes, optimally everyone should cut for a cycle as it's always better ; balanced hormonal profile, insulin sensitivity and more lean mass for the anabolic compound to work with.

Now this is your natural physique? You have been blessed with insane genetics if it's really the case. You're eighteen years old and already got potential after a year, you have so much leeway. Consider waiting till your early twenties, my advice.

never cut before or while on a cycle, also train your forearms

you and the person above both contradicted each other lol. If I were to do a cycle I do want to be a little leaner, abs more visible and better vascularity but wouldn’t it mess with my hormones before a cycle?

Depends on how lean you already are. I guess there is a bit of truth in both of our post. You're indeed lean and to go lower would mess your hormonal profile if you plan on running gear.

Long story short ; be lean in preparation for a cycle but don't do a harsh cut while it's taking place. With the exception of doing an enhanced cutting cycle of course.

I truly think I’m like 14-15% lol maybe it’s body dysmorphia idk. I’m considering a short aggressive cut for 4 weeks, rn I got mid vascularity and abs barely visible. here is a better photo in worse lighting.

You are under 14% bf like I said. Aggressive cut for a short period is the best way if you can muster the willpower and discipline.

Abs being not visible is not a good indicator ; my four upper abs are showing despite still having lower belly fat and some parts of my upper body being shredded. This is simply because I got more muscle mass. If you were to train your abs more, they would be popping right now. With training, you will see changes in your appearance even when the numbers on your scale don't go down (recomp). You are simply converting lean/fat mass into muscle.

My point is ; body fat is also impacted by your muscle ratio (FFMI).
