Should I do lateral raises as the first exercise on my push day to prioritize getting a wider frame?

Who cares about the order? It's pointless details like that that bring you nowhere. Unless you're powerlifting, where exercise selection and order matter for performance. Last I checked powerlifters don't do lateral raises. For aesthetic only, just do your raises regularly that's all, for God's sake.

ofc the order matters lol. ur energy and strength drops as u train, thats why u wanna do the most important lifts first while ur fresh

I usually do compound lifts first and then isolation exercises after.

I do shoulders after chest and triceps
reason being that they're already sorta warm from bench
imo its fine whatever order, as long as u get hypertrophy

The other replies are retarded. You should program your lifts to have your prioritized muscles—in your case side delts—get hit first. Yes you should put them at the start if that’s your main goal

There are no important lifts when we train for aesthetics. When I do my fbeod, if a machine is not free at some point, it's not the end of the world I move to the next exercise and come back later. Besides I would advise against including compound exercises ; squat, bench and deadlift are pretty much optional. I never do them.

Yes you get more and more fatigued. Although your weight/exercise/intensity selection should take this fact into account so that you can still perform your circuit and still feel like you've had a good workout at the end. I hope this clarifies what I mean by "order not important".

Yes. If your goal is to develop the aesthetic muscles that contribute to the vtaper, start with them first, so you can push them harder and get them to grow more. Right now I also do my later raises as my first exercise and I managed to get more growth (more striations and veins) in just 2 weeks of doing this.

Same goes for your pull day - wanna grow you lats or rear delts or biceps? Do whatever you want most FIRST so you can push it harder and get it to grow more.

Fuck compound exercises. They are for developing an X frame, not a V taper
