I dropped out of sixth form and for the past year and I’ve been a NEET/travelling since. I turned 19 recently so I won’t be able to go back to an actual sixth form, but colleges are still an option. I want to get back into education after speaking to a highly successful dentist who told me he didn’t even graduate from dentistry till 30 and that it’s never too late.
I’ve been looking at apprenticeships, but most of them run for a minimum of three/four years whereas a levels are just two. This means I’d have to go back to England and stay there for a couple of years which I don’t really want to do, but looking at apprenticeships they do seem like a better option.
Has anyone here switched from a levels to an apprenticeship or wished they did an apprenticeship over a levels?
