No, I agree with you on that point. I feel sorry for the people, especially because they did not have much influence. What I meant was that technology has many negative sides. Just think about why we are even on this forum. If you had read his manifesto, you would know that he said humanity has to make many sacrifices and that a long process of suffering is necessary until the negative sides of technology are eliminated. Yes, we are physically much better off and life expectancy has increased rapidly, but look at the rate of mental health issues. He was a genius, ahead of his time, a poor soul who used terrible methods to draw attention.

Yes Ted may have lots of good points in his manifesto about how the world was ruined by the IR. You would have to be severely mentally ill to say otherwise. I do refuse to believe, however, that a man of his intellect, was not COMPLETELY forced into using violent methods to draw attention to his cause
