Should i get genioplasty or trimax?

Cons for trimax:
- Would need teeth extracted
- More expensive
- Higher risk of complications
- Orthodontic work required

Pros:
- result looks a bit better vs genio only
- upper lip support is improved
- 4mm of downgrafting may give frontal gains but i was unable to notice any improvement in the simulation just that face looked longer. Is that a positive? Ive heard compact midface is preferred.

Your mentolabial fold is somewhat deep already. If you just horizontally moved the chin, that would get deeper. You could mitigate that with filler or vertically + horizontally move the chin to flatten the fold. Would need to see front profile to really tell if vertical is needed.

Lose weight + also do a submentoplasty especially if genio only. Trimax obviously stretches the skin of the face and neck far more than a genioplasty alone, but something is better than nothing.

it looks like the genio only morph includes some vertical movement downward, in which case the fold would either stay the same or actually improve. But I can’t see fully, it won’t let me open it so I’m zooming in on it.

I'd vote for the trimax. Besides the obvious, it also places your lips into a better position. Your lower lip pout is a pretty big failo.
