It's 100% voluntary. You can change that by changing your mindset. Your world shouldn't revolve around women, it should be all about you. Not saying you gotta start being all egoistic and whatnot, but you should definitely give yourself some love and care, rather than piling up those frustrations of not being able to attract women. The more you deattach yourself from them, the more you start to attract em. It's quite silly but think of cats, if you leave them alone, they start coming to you on their own pace. You ever think that maybe someone could have the most interesting, pleasurable experience ever and just not even know it. I really do get extremely blissful emotions from nature and being outside. My friend on the other hand says he doesn't even understand why people like nature.

I've done shitloads of opiates. They're nothing. There are people who don't even like them. Obviously, I like them or I wouldn't have done shitloads of them, but it's not like the experience is meaningful or anything. They give you a nice sense of well-being and satisfaction, which is obviously very appealing if you are depressed and anxious. But, again, it's fleeting and ultimately unsatisfactory and you have to pay it all back with interest.

Anything that makes your regular, sober life seem less fun/interesting/colorful should be avoided.
