Should I go diving in deep waters?

So bro in the water where i live there are full of leaves in deep parts and im scared of leaves since what if a crab is hiding there and bites me

But i found a place with like full sand, its deep and full sand no nothing just sand in the bottom

It progressively gets deeper

Should I go diving there? I dont have any equipment just glasses

And never freedived before

Will i drown? Will a current take me?

Like i know how to dive and swim

Ill just go there go down then go up again, but the thought of it is scary

Yeah lakes are pretty shit to swim in. Its also still water so lots of bacteria breed there and hard to swim in too cus no salt. Brain eating amoeba, rare af but theres a possibility. Easy to drown in
