If you're gonna cut for 10 months then you'll still need a diet break in there anyways, and I'd honestly say thats the more unhealthy approach since its so long. If you weigh 80kgs ish then that means you can safely lose 20kg in just around 16 weeks. Calculating some glycogen loss too and it's only about 14 weeks/3,5 months.
