Should I mouth breathe for a longer midface to fix my smile

I genuinliy don't know what to do atp

when I smile, my alar base is attached too far up high on my midface so my nose points down like a witch nose.
with a neutral expression its perfectly straight.

I can use my muscles in my nose to bring my nose down, and when I smile it looks straight, but all my top teeth are covered by my philtrum, which = I need a downgraft

I know this is a stupid question but technically if I mouth breathe wouldn't my maxilla come down more?
