Hey, I'm 21 and my wisdom tooth has started to cut through my gum, but it doesn't hurt. My dentist immediately told me that I should have it removed because it could destroy my straight teeth and cause some bad infections. I would kinda prefer it to stay because I've seen the RTG and it's growing pretty straight, max 5 degrees off where it should be, and I have quite a big wide jaw so I don't see any reason why not. Should I remove it now as a precaution? Or wait until it grows more and then decide.

Perhaps I should have mentioned that my dentist is quite money-grabbing, so I have a pretty big suspicion that he will automatically tell everyone that they need their wisdom teeth removed.

i chewed bricks and was able to erupt my last wisdom tooth on my subhuman side past 22

I have said it many times before: Upper ones: yes. Lower ones: no.

Yes, keep them, 100%. I suffered through the eruptions for a week or two but now that they are in there's no harm in it.

it gives hollow cheeks
how would removing the upper teeth gave hollow cheeks? it doesn't make sense. Removing the upper teeth makes the face shrink and that will make people loose bone mass. Less bone mass equals more bloated appearence.

Wait till it is fully grown.

If you can clean it well, keep them. Would recommend getting a water flosser to ensure they stay clean.

The only wisdom teeth that should be removed are symptomatic ones. Doesn't matter if they're crooked or impacted.

Listen to me you fucking retard, bone mass is only lost in the lower jaw, so thats why you should not remove the lowers.
Ask anyone and the will tell you the same thing if you think you are smarter than everyone else.
I got mine removed and the cheeks became more hollow.

I said that it "gave more hollow look" not that a fat fuck like you will go from bloated to hollow. It is just a slight improvement and it depends on person to person, I got lucky and got results, other people might not. You are just a stupid loser lol.

what are ways to reverse it if you did remove bottom ones? Is there any procedure to fix it?
I talked to a doc and he said bone grafting isn't a permanent solution, it retains bone 3 years max, before disintegrating due to lack of implants.
