Wasn't as powerful as i thought, was getting massive framedrops on elden ring. But, that could be attributed to the games crappy engine and not the laptop itself. What do you slayers think?

Did you check that you're on the high performance power plan in the Windows settings?

Gaming laptops are known to often be throttled because of inherent heat issues with all that power in the small package

Also you're basically telling us nothing what settings are you playing on?

it's stuck on balanced i can't find the high performance power plan. I'll have to look it up to see how to change that.

I'm playing with everything maxxed out. i'm getting 60 fps, then it just randomly drops to like 30 out of nowhere.

Thats probably a big part of the issue

What resolution?

Also lol at asking technical questions, or any questions about anything at all that matters, on this delusional retard 90 iq forum lmao

Which laptop

its not due to the specs, its due to the heat, its inevitable with laptops regardless of specs

all i see is balanced there is no option for high performance. I downloaded msi dragoncenter there is high performance on there, that is what i have been using.

yea maybe, it gets loud and hot as fuck when i was using it in the library. I had to switch it to "silent mode" just to play. Maybe that's why the performance tanked.

indeed, had an high end gaming laptop aswell, lagged when i played league of legends, its inevitable that the heat will kill performance

yea it's fun, i've beaten every boss and there are multiple builds you can do (i have not done many builds fyi). But, it's still a fun game that I would recommend everyone to play at least one time through.

i think it might just be elden ring, i checked online and it seems a lot of people are having frame rate drop issues.

check ur temperatures when playing that game, even if its just that game, the temperature over time will kill your computer

Yea but the recommended system requirements are a 2010 gpu .https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-hd-6950.c405

Must be some horrific optimization lol. Or probably an issue like i said
