Should I return to the gym & complete the workout I failed to do today ?

So I usually bench 225 for 5 sets of 5, today it was off from the beginning even 215 felt like it was my 1RM, after doing a couple sets of bench with bitch weight + a couple sets of barbell rows, I just left the gym ( 5 hours ago ) with a serious pain my pec ( pec major )


I normally do 6 exercises, that was just 2 half ass ones, should I return a try to get a good workout in ?
 
u make more gains with less exercise u are probably pushing too hard resulting in injury. ur not wolverine buddy go rest

I just benched couple days ago & felt that pec major pain already today I did bench again jfl I'm pushing so hard to reach 245 5X5 ASAP and my poor programming and horrible mental health is getting in the way fml

why dont u realize ur a natty and your body can only recover so much. u need like 5 sets per muscle group with effort 2x a week even less...

No point in doing 18 sets or whatever shit you are doing with 6 different exercises


just do bench press, ohp, dips for push

barbell row, pull ups, deadlift for pull

and for legs sprints, one leg squats

I actually ONLY do Bench OHP and weighted dips for pushing ( Plus tricep pushdown & Lateral raises )
and pulling is barbell rows + weighed pullups + curls of all kinds, nearly no legs lol


Don't know what the fuck happened to my pecs, as soon as I go heavy on the bench I feel a sharp, crazy pain.

rotator cuff tendinitis maybe. bench press is not even a natural movement for most ur better off doing dips, ohp. its safer for u

don't rush for gains, you don't want to get injured. Eat and sleep well
 
I stopped benching a long time ago I reached 265lbs on bench at my max rep but I had so many pain in my shoulder when benching and then my chest was hurting too. now I just do calisthenics , bench press is garbage there is a reason why all those guys are using straps, belts and such just for one fucking movement. its not natural

whats your routine ? drop the exercises + sets

I have pretty fucking amazing shoulders by I'm not the biggest bench presser in my gym & it bothers me, as soon as I complete the 245 5x5 challenge I drop this forever, fuck benching.

JUST PULL UPS 4SETS DIPS 4SETS SPRINTS 12 SETS. I cant be bothered doing all of these clown exercises when only lean bf matters anyway

PPL FORMAT but only one leg day on SATURDAY

yeah thats very good bro. i dont do that right now because i am starving hard so i wont build any muscle anyway

Neck training and lateral raises are most important exercises for looks
