This tbh. I know it sounds aspie, but people fraud all the time whether it's knowingly or out of ignorance. Some retards measure with their shoes on or they don't compress their hair, some are rounding up entire inches, some are measuring straight out of bed and so on. Most are just lying.

Measure yourself barefoot at around noon, use an aerosol can against a straight wall, you don't even have to stand with your back against the wall, front is ok. You can just mark the height range you think you're at on the wall to make a homemade stadiometer so you don't have to constantly use a pencil to measure. Breathe in deep, stand tall, correct your posture as much as you can and measure.
It's 100% accurate if done properly.

I'm 182cm at noon to about 7pm. I feel slightly above average even in Croatia, but I do get mogged quite often. There's a lot of very tall guys here.
