mk677 is a peptide

ibutamoren isn't a peptide, rather a non-peptidyl orally active ghrelin receptor agonist.
basically it acts as if it were endogenous ghrelin stimulating the release of growth hormone at a higher affinity for the GHR than actual ghrelin.
plus it has a 24h long half-life, whereas a single endogenous ghrelin ligand has a half-life of 30 minutes.

mk677 isn't good though, it may increase igf-1 but it's not worth it in the long run, it'll directly cause insulin resistance.
that's not to say that peptides and GH won't because they will, but mk677 will cause more damage and at a faster rate.

I wouldn't bother with exogenous igf-1, even in the bodybuilding community, the results are quite pathetic, they vary from painful pumps to hypoglycemia basically. And there isn't a real way to test whether or not you've got a legit peptide, as it won't show up as igf-1 on a blood test as it's not actually igf-1 rather an IGF-1 receptor agonist, with a higher affinity for the receptor and a lower affinity for the binding proteins, point is, it's faked often because sellers and manufacturers can get away with it, it's expensive, and you'd get far better results with actual growth hormone and peptides, especially hexarelin.

I believe it, mk677 increases igf-1, that's indisputable, I'm sure @Alexanderr was eluding to the fact that mk677 isn't worth the small igf-1 increase in comparison to peptides and growth hormone for the playoff of increased chances of diabetes.
