Should I still be wearing a Twin Block appliance ?

I'm about to turn 18 in a month, I have braces on my top incisors and canines and was just recently told by my orthodontist I don't really need to wear my twin block anymore as I am getting full braces soon, should I still wear a Twin-block, will I actually still see any change ?
