Should i take a break from high school

A week ago i got a keratin treatment that ruind my hair and i was forced to cut i short but not super short but still in looks very goofy like this and no one knows yet and I start on Monday so should I just go or take a 1 month break im considering not going because it look like shit and everyone is used to me with long hair
