Should i train Obliques or Not?

Hello guys, i constantly find myself in the doubt that if training obliques will make my waist look bigger or look with a better V shape, im just asking what do you guys think since there is a lot of missinformation and contradiction in youtube for example.

Directly training obliques is only aesthetically beneficial if you have wide hips and a small waist, resulting in an hourglass shape which is obviously not ideal for a male physique.

Otherwise don’t train them.

obliques get trained no matter what ab exercises u do.
 
Obliques ruin the physique. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I trained them after abs so I hit them 3x a week.

Literally turned my semi v taper I had into a refrigerator physique with a blocky wide waist. Also made my shoulders look narrower.

All because some jackass told me to never neglect any muscles “it’s science bro” “you gotta develop all muscles to be healthy bro”

I swear girls show less attention now which makes sense since the v taper is one of the most important things for a good body.

Three muscles to never train:
Obliques
Lower chest
Traps

Also
Abs (never train them with weight, bodyweight only but still take it easy)
