Should I use anything else with accutane?

On accurate rn, gradually increasing dosage. It has started to clear up.
Should I do anything else (other than wash your face obviously) to speed up the process?

Or do I have to just be patient and look like shit for a little while

Im on it now for just about a month. Started using moisturizer cuz of dry skin, but besides that its looking like shit for a while

Don't get depressed on this sub cause you might ropemaxx, also don't take high dosages, rather take lower dosages and stay on it longer tbh

other than a cleanser, a facial moisturizer with spf would be good to keep your face moisturized. petroleum jelly or a lip balm for your lips to stay moisturized too. how many months after starting did you increase your dosage? a standard course is 0.5mg - 1.0mg per day for about four to six months. then to evaluate and decide if further treatment is necessary

mix of both, I think it has been proven that a low dosage works better and the goal is the total amount after all the journey. btw accutane is no joke. seen people advising it to help get a better nose or some shit, don’t do that lol
