Should I use more cherrypicked photos on dating apps? According to my childhood friend, I seem to look more like them

and the DP I am using, I already thought was much better than I look. I don't wanna use uber good pics and then meet my date and face brutal rejection or be told I look nothing like my pictures. Because in my bad pictures, I look legit 0/10.

In fact, I have been depending on harsh candids or passport type photos because I feel they are more authentic
