i only do things to be seen but i never really want social acceptance

Depends, if you are unhealthy as fuck or are positive that ignorance will lead to negative circumstances then not caring whatsoever will do you a lot of harm, me personally I believe you should always be aware of social norms and which ones can negatively affect your life if not followed, don’t necessarily conform, just keep them in mind, don’t let it get to your head but also don’t outright ignore it, humans are social creatures and if you don’t conform to any social norms whatsoever you will be outcast and it’s not worth the “at least I get to be myself”, in this specific case I believe it depends on the girl, whether she’s important enough to warrant constant mockery or backhanded compliments

my web gf is 6cm taller than me, 183cm and I'm 177cm
I'll see her next month, I know I wont mind because im used to taller people since my family is full of taller people than me, my aunt is same height as me if not a bit taller.

BUT i wouldnt if I was like 10cm shorter, specially if the girl is not skinny. She had a bf for a short period that was 169cm and skinny. Her family made jokes about him saying he looked like a child with her, even she made a joke about it, she said he couldn't stand her sitting on his lap, and that he sat on her lap like a "passive"

I care about what other people think, and IMO when your girl is taller it makes other people think that you must have something very special for her to be with you
