It can make your waist appear bigger thus making your v taper look worse?

You need strong abs and core muscles to support your spine.

No unless you want a thicker waist, everyone has abs under the fat no need to train em

Only if you are lean, if you are not lean abs muscles will make you look fatter

No, will just make waist bigger. Waist to shoulder ratio is far more important than slightly stronger abs.

So you should train your abs to makesthem show ? Just get lean . Never knew that.
Should I just train Upper and lower body and neck no core ?

If you want to look good and dont care about strength, just get to a lower body fat%, then you will have abs and good definition without making your waist bigger.

Don't listen to these lazy gigacopers. Abs are a muscle like anything else, making them grow + losing fat will make them pop more

I personally dont believe these "abs are just bodyfat bro :feelstastyman:" theory.

There are many skinny guys without abs. If you are training chests to make them more visible, you also have to train abs.

They get enough indirect work from training alone unless you're training low volume and like a pussy tbh. Like Dorian Yates said (6x Mr Olympia BTW) at most just do crunches and reverse crunches 2-3 times a week for 10 minutes.

yes imo, but deadlifting squatting etc will train them enough already

I'd probably recommend you stop watching the manlet Jeff Nippard tbh. There are plenty of people who don't train front delts directly and receive indirect work from chest and have big front delts (myself included). The same can be said for forearms also AND ABS. As long as they aren't genetically poor, indirect work and low body fat will be sufficient AND maintain a tighter waist, better shoulder to waist ratio etc etc

You're not gonna get your waist much bigger if you're just hitting your abdominals. Avoid exercising obliques if you're worried about it. Also tbh like others have side you don't really need to target them, unless you have them as a genetic weakness or smthn they will naturally grow from basically all other lifts. With proper form in every exercises you'll be activating your core to some degree.

Muscle size doesnt matter. Just dont be a fat fuck like @LondonVillie or @higgabigga and the rest is bones

Just lol at your v-shape shit
The only thing girl fell for is abs, they love it.
keep coping you turbo recessed incel

I dont watch Jeff Nipard.

I agree, some guys can get enough tension from other workouts indirectly, but some guys dont, and they wouldnt lose anything from working out abs.

I use rings and pretty much every single exercise works core but i still have extremly Thin waist , yoh won't get thicker waist unlesd you isolate obliques

Training your obliques and getting to low bf will make your v-cut (or adonis belt) appear bigger. The v-cut is often described as the most visually attractive part on men (besides face). And it won't make your v-taper appear smaller if you train your lats.

Look at this video from 4:01-4:30:

i do so many standing exercises i dont need to do a lot of direct work

i very occasionally do ultra high rep band crunches.
