Foids are ahead of the game. They know what matters most for them is their hips which is why they devote most of their work to that.

For us it’s our shoulders that matter most for our sexual attractiveness yet for some reason all the gymcels only do flat bench and deadlifts all day.

the shoulder press used to be the main movement that all guys who worked out were strong at back then.

It wasn’t until recently that the flat bench was popularized.

It was actually popularized by a homosexual named Joe Weider who liked when guys had an overly big chest that looked like tits.

shoulder movement like ohp and laterals, lu's fucks up my shoulder joint. I do mainly upper back & rear delt exercises to compensate it.

Wide grip upright rows are also good to overload the side delts cause you can do heavy weight with them.

some dudes can exclusively hit ohp, incline bench, and all raises possible and still look subhuman

u just can't move up that much bc genetics. if you're in the bottom 20%, hitting lateral delts daily might make u better than the 20% but anyone with somewhat better genetics will still mog

I am not saying to train your legs at all but prioritising them like bodybuilders who have to show their entire body to win is retarded everyone here goes to the gym for looksmaxxing purposes no one goes to live 10 years longer so prioritising your upper body and just do some sets of squats and leg presses to avoid having a a jacked upper body and chicken legs

It has the best returns for your metabolism to stay high so you can burn fat while resting. Most of your biggest muscles in your body are beneath your belly button. If you don’t train legs you neglect the part of your body where you can boost your testosterone the most.

u just can't move up that much bc genetics. if you're in the bottom 20%, hitting lateral delts daily might make u better than the 20% but anyone with somewhat better genetics will still mog

Guys with naturally wide clavicles/frames absolutely exist, but it’s not that common which is why when you see someone like that, they stand out.

Having gymcelled delts and lats made a huge visual improvement for me. Much more substantial than many here like to believe that width is completely genetic.

Laterals are good for sure, but once I added heavy shoulder pressing for progressive overload my delts became much fuller and wider faster. Likewise for weighted pullups. Lats thickened up which pushed my arms out giving even more width

okay you know what - i was speaking more from a bb aesthetics standpoint. in daily life and meeting girls i agree that gymmaxxing will make anyone look bigger and wider. and like unless you're wearing gym clothes or have douchey fits your v-taper is barely noticeable dressed up, so yeah a girl likely wont be able to tell how wide-hipped you are etc

Imo the difference between looking “athletic” and like a “meathead gymrat” is bodyfat.

When bulked up, the extra fat and padding makes your arms, chest, and upper back a lot more filled out. Thats when people perceive you as a stereotypical bodybuilder/gymcel due to the size and proportions.

When very lean, muscles flatten out no matter how gymcelled you are, and thats when people perceive you as athletic, and not someone who in reality spends hours a week training hypertrophy and isolation

i completely disagree with this. yes, being lean will make someone with worse proportions look athletic - but if your proportions are on point u can look athletic all the way upto 15-20% bf.

im about 15% bf in this pic - the arms are vascular from a pump - if i was shirtless you could see a belly. BUT, walking around everyone would think im super lean and athletic. height also helps with this ig.
most of my friends were actually smaller than me but people told me they looked "bigger" - while i looked like i got big from sports. which is far from the truth.
i also got the maximum compliments for my delts even tho i never really emphasized them - again genetics.
