This might sound retarded but a recent thread reminded me of all the hazardous chemicals that are present in shower gels/shampoos/soaps etc and how all of them are basically detrimental to your health. Use biological ones? You might get scammed imo, they are not waterproof either when it comes to preventing hazardous substances from entering your body tbh.
It made me think, and I suddenly got the following idea: Why not shower with water only? Isn't that what our ancestors did too?
Thoughts?

Soaps only take the natural oils from your body causing you to produce more, it’s basically a scam cycle. Buy soap, produce more oil, buy more soap.

yeah, soap is basically for commerical gains and smelling fresh in the short-term.

if you stop using it, you will pretty much suffer (from BO and greasy skin) for 3-4 weeks, but after that, you return back to normal and your body doesn't crave soap anymore.

i stopped using soap for my body. just becoming high T from hours of browsing lookism.net will lead to your sweat smelling good so you don't need to wash your body that thoroughly. i use esquire shampoo/conditioner for my hair now because it's free of those chemicals

Why even shower? our ancestors never used to shower.

You know in ancient Rome, they used olive oil on their bodies, then scraped it off with a special tool, and finally washed themselves with water. A slave usually applied, removed the oil and washed their master.
I think some Turkish baths offer these kind of treatments along with massage.

i think you need some kind of water filter or purifier for it to be really effective. it's better for overall health in general to. it filters out the things like chlorine and heavy metals.

Nice one, I also do cold showers. 10 degrees Celsius max for me but I cannot go any lower than 0 degrees C cause it has a limiter on it.

i only have cold showers for the past few months and i rarely use shower gel sometimes i used to have cold shower every day sometime twice a day to cool me off

Hows your skin/hair quality? I've got a feeling it might make you look worse short term since your body needs to adapt but that it will actually look better long term since its a lot more natural and you aren't poisoning yourself.

Cold showers are good for mental health, not so good for your hair. It can boost cortisol and cause hair loss. Wimhof has a good head of hair around 30-40, but went bald from the ice.

Yes, normally I just wait until the water feels like nothing, not cold or warm, just liquid flowing over my skin.

being bald is genetic and environmental - but mostly gentic like everything

some people can do what they want pull their hair out pull it back and they have thick nw0 at 90 years
showering = ascending
cold shower + nofap + no porn + confidence boost = better mood, higher t levels, better mind

I use a tiny bit of high quality organic soap for crotch and armpit area. spread it a bit but that's what needs washing mostly and wash the rest with water only. cheap, low toxicity, fast, gets the job done

Might have to hop on coconut oil as well. Do you think castor oil could produce similar results?

Maybe normies were right, they only forgot to say that the showers we need to take must be without soap.

Our rich ancestors used olive oil to clean themselves, and vinegar. Natural ingredients like those can help a lot. Today, I would recommend a natural, organic bar of soap, like the kind this company makes: chagrin valley soap, and a good cold shower.

Massaging your hair, will stimulate bloodhair and help your hair grow, also Omega 3 is good.

Doesn't shampoo dry your hair out? What would be the worse thing that could happen? Greasy hair? I think baking soda might be able to get the grease out of my hair honestly.

I haven’t used shampoo in 4 years and I rarely use any soap. If you drink enough water and don’t eat like shit, you don’t need soap to not smell bad. Also, don’t use deodorant. You’re just putting a bunch of random chemicals on your skin to seep in all day

Gonna start doing the same. I need to cut down on deodorant tbh, that shit is probably toxic af. I think I'll start making baking soda shampoo for my hair but that will be it, nothing else.

You will likely get greasier hair for a bit but for your long term health it’s obviously worth it
