No it isn't. You really don't get it.

IQ is something you are born with. You can't choose to increase your IQ by going to college. So the only time someone should go to college is if they have a high enough IQ to study a subject matter that will give them a highly paid career for their future. Why?
Because having a higher income means your time is worth more in the capitalist marketplace than most people's, so you can either work hard and retire at age 40, or simply work less and still make more than the wage cucks who make 10$/hour.

Even in the time of Isaac Newton or Albert Einstein or Thomas Edison, this was still the case, people who had a high IQ and used it to their advantage lived a much more comfortable and more lavish lifestyle than those who had a low IQ or were lazy with their high IQ or born in poor families. Nowadays, in first world countries, we don't have the limits that we used to have so the only thing that limits us is our IQ, it is the reason why only a select few manage to become software engineers and even fewer manage to be doctors or surgeons.

Being a wealthy individual with a good career isn't a coping mechanism, it is simply a result of hard work combined with a high IQ. Because a low IQ person who works hard is still a low IQ person, because like I said, your IQ can't be changed.

So in most cases, it is better to be high IQ and ugly than low IQ and good looking, unless your only goal in life is to have sex with women on Tinder and you don't care about being a wage cuck until you die. The reason why I say "until you die" is because wage cucks get no retirement, because they make so little that they can never manage to save any money, and that applies to both those who are single and those who are married. The guys that women pick for hookups aren't necessarily extraverted, many of them are introverts, but they force themselves to talk to women, so they still succeed because of their looks and confidence.

Also, there are people who are intelligent, good looking and sexually successful and there are also people who are stupid, ugly and involuntarily celibate.
