Just know that if you want to treat mild acne with benzoyl peroxide, your skin will look like this after the 3rd use. Obviously not ideal for high inhib Incels because you’re then gonna have to smear layers of CeraVe moisturizer over your face to reduce inflammation and dryness and go out in public. Just a warning for whoever wants to skinmaxx but is high inhib.

P.S : it stays like this for around 2 weeks and you would have to keep applying moisturizer multiple times a day and you can’t expose your skin to the sun either.

lol Did you smoother your face in it? You're only supposed to use it for spot treatment.

I applied it to the entire region where I have acne. I don’t apply it to the exact spot.

That's where you messed up, also you only need a thin layer.

Dermatologists say it should be applied to whole area where you have acne not just on the exact pimple. Either way, I have been through this lots of times and the redness always fades away through moisturizing and my skin looks smooth after.

Made my face peel off literally I used 10% when I had cystic acne and was bluepilled. It's good now but holy shit I looked horrible. I'm by far the biggest acnecel on this forum btw, you're looking at the man himself.

Did it help you? Benzoyl peroxide isn’t for acne THIS bad, it’s just a mild acne treatment or spot treatment if you have a few pimples that need to be dried out. My skin is peeling off as well but that always happens. Your acne is accutane worthy...benzoyl peroxide won’t do shit to such bad acne jfl.

Don't use benzoyl peroxide. It's an oxidant and destroys collagen in the long run.

I fucking blasted accutane and it stopped my acne but only for 6 months, it's back but not nearly as bad. I have to eat completely tryhard healthy just to have the skin in the second picture. It's brutal honestly, the amount of shit I have to do. Shit hormone levels I think, probably high estrogen.

I only use it short term but i’m ditching it because I feel like it legit destroys collagen.

Should be fine if you use it with adapalene

I used a thing called Epiduo Forte which is a blend of adapalene and benzoyl peroxide and it made my nasolabial folds so much worse in the 4 months I used it. Thank god 1 month of tretinoin reversed the damage.

Damn, might stop using it then tbh. Been having random breakouts recently though.

Acne is androgen-driven not estrogen.

whatever bro. I legit have fucking gyno so my estrogen was/is high. either way I ALSO have high estrogen on top of whatever other issues so it doesn't really help if it's not estrogen.

Probably because of increased aromatization of excessive androgens (puberty). Again acne pathogenesis is multi-factorial

Does tretinoin give collagen glow?

I'm switching from Epiduo to Tretinoin too. What's your experience comparing the irritation of Tretinoin to Epiduo? Does your skin burn and peel with Tretinoin? Did you get an initial purge when switching to Tretinoin?

I switched to the weakest strength tretinoin and there is zero irritation and burning. Some spots on my skin did purge from switching but it was much lighter and friendlier than epiduo.

adapalene won't cause nasolabial folds, lack of moisture caused by it might. You need a heavy, 50spf broad spectrum suncream while using it.
