Because the chin has to come forward in a chin wing and due to the cut, I've heard a chin wing can blunt the jaw angles.
Instead of a chin wing, can one undergo a side wing osteotomy and chin shield so that you can impact the ramus and gonial in a preferred way and then just move the chin separately by itself without impact to the jaw angles?
I think my only concern would be these would have to be some time apart, right?
