Psychology isn’t even a science. It’s a fucking meme that got too far. It’s the pseudo science that gets taken the most seriously and it’s hilarious.
Even psychology’s more intellectual cousin isn’t very reliable:
Our current neuroscience is very rudimentary. Right now all we can do is notice that certain areas of the brain fire when we do certain things, like when we’re trying to remember something for example. That’s it.
That’s how those bozos managed to map the areas of the brain and made it look all fancy:
They just took an X-ray of a brain and started playing with it.
“Ooh, so when they hear sounds, this part of the brain starts firing neurons more frequently? Guess that’s the auditory area! Make that one turquoise!”
When in reality we don’t even understand the brain of a worm. The best neuroscientist in the world has no idea how patterns of neurons translate to thought and behavior. Science can’t even put an end to the discussion about homosexuality being nature or nurture.
Right now, we cannot observe the mind directly and therefore we cannot make actual science. Science is based on EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE
It’s mostly just analyzing people’s behaviors and making hypothesis that can’t really be proven 100%
And don’t get me started on conducting psychological “””“research”””” by asking normies what they think about themselves. The answers are always full of copes and virtue signal bias.
Psychogists and neuroscientists don’t know shit. Your guess is as good as theirs.
