We know about all the theories, such as SMV, etc etc.. that tell us to strive for being good.
Now there are communities about the concept of simple living, and the concept is good, but it's not really what a man should do in life.
Of course simple living it's better, because you enjoy life, but if you want to be relevant, make the difference, you also have to work hard for your goals.
So actually simple living it's an exageration of people that want to live a very simple life, rather than keeping their current life as it is, but cutting the excesses.
A man really cannot do that. A man need to strive for some goals on his life, he need to build, experiment, always go out of comfort zone, to grow. Life is hard!
I cannot think about a man who wants to be better, to improve, or make a family, and have a comfort zone simple living attitude in his life.
We need a bigger goal than yesterday in life, to generate social and material wealth.
This simple living concept, doesn't respect our evolutionary nature, and look like we are settling in a deadly comfort zone.
Having "good healthy habits" is better than going for the "simple living" thing.
It's just me or simple living it's not for man?
This is a serious question, what do you guys think?
