I’m gonna admit I used to love these movie games that all look like TLOU but there’s so many of them i literally became disgusted I just can’t anymore every game nowadays is either a last of us single player clone or a shooter online game

If even me that used to love these kinds of games grew sick of them imagine ppl who actually liked playing games and not watching some heavily scripted interactive movie?

Literally these games are so scripted I’m impressed they are considered games at all u have 0 freedom and I mean u can’t even go a mm out the script

Red dead 2 was almost good the game is scripted to shit but at least it’s only the missions so the open world keeps u distracted since it’s so free it refreshes u from the movie missipns

But GOW I played the first and liked it since it was before I got sick of movie games but now I just can’t sit through another one of these tbh

I tried playing the game but I want freedom if I wanna watch a movie I’ll turn on Netflix bro

I don’t need to play a game that’s so scripted it’s basically a movie but still not quite a movie so u can’t turn off ur brain completely so they end up being a shit game and a shit movie

Red dead 2 is so good

That’s an exception tho and I will say it’s only good because of the free open world

Rdr 2 missions are exactly what my problem is

U can’t even fart one inch out of line or the mission will fail

The reason I can still tolerate that game is cause the story is very good and the open world is the polar opposite of the missions it’s very free

So when I’m sick of following a very narrow script I explore the world

Elden ring is very good

Bloodborne is actually one of the only games I enjoyed and after that i played elden ring

I think the problem is breath of the wild was a unique game when it came out so it had that nostalgia

Tears of the kingdom is just breath of the wild reboot basically the same story and game but with 2x more shit to do

Map is huge too since u have the sky and underground even tho bland is the size of hyrule but under grownd so the map is almost 3x bigger
