As the title already says, I am wondering if
skeletal asymmetry, for my case being a canted maxilla + uneven bite and lower jaw thats following the maxillas cant, would the Advanced Lightwire Functional (ALF) appliance still be something that could fix it? Im pushing 19 but havent tested how open my sutures are nor if my growth plates are still open.

My inital thought was just going for a bimax + ccw + septoplasty as the easy fix. The right side of my mandibular plane grew faster then the other, which made my maxilla slowly "collapse", leaving me with slight Dysgnathia now jfl. My forward growth is uneven.

I also have a lumbar spine scoliosis of 16° if thats important info.

Bimax is the only fix for you, ALF doesn't work and won't fix your assymetry/cant.

Go see a physical therapist, your spine is probably compensating because of your canted/assymetric jaw.

I thought so too, so I reckon u also think that the bimax would relieve the spine from compensating?

Yes, first you need bimax to project your jaws and fix your assymetry, cant and bite.
Then you need a physical therapist to decompensate your spine, fix your posture train the weak muscles etc.
You need both in this order because your spine is compensating for your uneven jaw, and you cant fully fix it without bimax to make your jaws even and stop straining your body.
Physical therapy can help now, but it will be temporary and your spine will go back to compensating.
I have a similar issue, not to this degree but my bite is a bit off and my left side mandible is more projected, longer slightly better gonial angle & ramus and I've noticed my posture compensating so I can only imagine how it is for you.
