You're supposed to use tretinoin at night!

Tretinoin is photosensitive, especially if you're using 0.025% which degrades at a rate of about 80% and 0.05% at a rate of about 50%.

Use tretinoin at night with niacinamide, then use a sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection and moisturizer during the day (moisturizer at night too)
