I don’t have break-outs, mostly peeling and skin flaking. Is this normal? When will it go a wat eventually. Yes, i use a moisturizer.

Yeah, it’s normal to experience peeling and flaking when you’re on tret, especially in the first couple months. Your skin is adjusting, and tret is working to speed up cell turnover, which can cause that dry, flaky skin. As for when it’ll stop, it varies from person to person, but usually after 6-8 weeks, your skin starts to settle down and the peeling should ease up. Just make sure you're using a good moisturizer (sounds like you are!) and maybe go easy on exfoliating, so you don’t irritate it further. You’re on the right track! Keep going, and it should get better soon.

If goes on for another month, switch to lower conc. or apply EOD

You can't expose your skin to the sun too much while on tret too, neither should you be using any moisturizer you can find, some chemicals in certain moisturizers harm the skin that becomes sensitive.

Check your moisturizer too

Yes it’s normal, takes a while for your skin to adjust

Moisturize diligently and up your hydration game. Get some kind of humectant- I recommend vegetable glycerin, very cheap at any store. Add a few drops of this to moisturizer and apply it to your wet face after washing. You can also try out some different hydrating/peptide serums

If you wash your face 2x day, you can cut back to one time or only wash with water in the morning. Make sure your cleanser is gentle

I have an oil based cleaner made from centella.

Btw do you recommend putting a bit of tret under the eyes?
