I’ve been using a few products recently recommended by my friend who has good skin but after using these products I feel like I’ve fucked my skin up way more. Here are the products I have used:

Cosrx Salicylic Acid Foaming Cleanser
Centella Oil Cleaner
Dr Althea Vit C Boosting Serum
Frankly Niacinamide
Dr Althea 345 Relief Cream
Centella Hyalucica Sunscreen

I used the foaming cleanser in the morning and paired it with the vitamin C serum and my moisturiser and sunscreen and used the oil cleanser and foaming cleanser (double-cleansing) followed by niacinamide and my moisturiser. After my acne didn’t improve (I consistently used the products regularly), I hopped on the Femcinol A Gel recommended by another friend. After using it for 3 weeks and not seeing any improvement I hopped off everything and using nothing but water on my skin for now. What should I do to fix my skin barrier and most importantly get rid of the acne in my entire face. The dermatologist I went to today literally recommended procedures to “get rid of my acne permanently”. What do I do bros

ANYTHING but tret huh

Was on tret before my friend made me the skincare routine and still had a few pimples here and there 💔

Literally nothing else? No cleanser, moisturiser?
moisturizer if you’re prone to dry skin from tret and cleanser if you wear makeup

I’ve already used tret earlier but I haven’t used it in a few months or so, how should I reintroduce it

Should I just do this rn or wait a while for my skin barrier to heal

I’m not fucking up my growth plates :lul:

I think most of the sides purported surrounding isotretinoin are fear mongering. I've heard the height thing - No idea what the MoA is - but here's a study saying people who use it are taller.

Oh my god just take accutane or tret

some people can tolerate slathering their face with a thousand different jewish chemicals a day and some people arent. try cutting your routine down to just the cleanser, niacinamide and the cleanser. and for fucks sake start using tretinoin

Bro is doing anything except fixing the issue. Send your face and we can recommend the best option for you.

For any future posts, this is my skin rn. First two photos are my cheeks and last one is my foreheard. 3 months of consistent skincare led to this :feelsrope:

Just take normal cleanser spf and moisturizer
And use separate washcloths and towels just for your face, and keep them spotless clean
