skincare that u can get without a prescription will do a bit and is good as managing acne but if u want stuff that really works u need to get it prescribed

I know you’re new and you think diet is cope but your gut health and nutrients determine how your skin looks also lip color and generally it gives you more health indicators which makes you more appealing

Yes, because retinoids have not been clinically proven to solve acne, reduce wrinkles, fine lines and skin texture. And yes, because the sun doesn't cause damage to the skin and ages you like shit. And of course, because having dirty skin will absolutely not lead to skin barrier impairment and acne.

The cosmetic skincare industry can be considered "cope", but clinical skincare and dermatological research are proven science.

It's not that a cleanser doesn't work, it's that you need a skin-appropriate cleanser, or maybe even no cleanser. But the bottom line is that your skin needs to be clean, for some a cleanser is needed, for other water may just be enough, but you cannot walk around with dirty skin.

you know skin barrier can easily be repaired by consuming raaa animal skin.
our ancestors didn't do skincare but had perfect skin.

Is this satire or ragebait? 😭

The skin barrier is made of lipids, acids, bacteria, etc. Consuming raw anything will not fix a compromised skin barrier, the skin barrier can fix it itself given that you provide the proper nutrients to it (animal skin will not provide all of those), but skincare just makes the process much easier.

our ancestors didn't do skincare but had perfect skin.
We have pretty much no record of how the skin of our ancestors looked. This is all a made-up belief that has pretty much zero anthropological backing, like saying "our ancestors were so much healthier" but they died like at age 30, what constitutes "perfect skin" and "better health" exactly?

I agree ngl. Only in the most severe cases where someone has horrendous genetics in terms of skin. Do I think they should consider taking something for it.

You’re an uneducated retard.

You’re one of those guys who say sunscreen is cope probably.

Skincare is not cope, but the less is more. Just do the basics if your acne is mild-minimal (spf50, moisturizer and a cleanser and maybe a retinoid).

If your acne is bad then hop on accutane (+the basics aswell) and you’re fine.

No, a lot are shit and just a money grab but there are still ines with proven amazing results like taz, tret, accutane, spf, moistueriser
