1. THE THREE RULES OF SKINCARE
Forget 15-step routines. Master these 3 first:
Everything else builds on top.
3. MORNING ROUTINE (THE GO OUTSIDE AND TOUCH GRASS STEP)
If you’re skipping sunscreen, you’re coping.
4. NIGHT ROUTINE
5. ACNE KILLER STACK
If you’re still dealing with acne in 2025, do this:
Extra:
If that doesn’t fix it see a derm, get prescribed Tretinoin and Doxycycline. Don't waste years guessing.
6. SKIN STACK (To ascend your skin)
7. HYPERPIGMENTATION / DARK SPOTS FIX
Stay consistent for 6–12 weeks. Don’t jump between products every 2 days.
8. UNDEREYES — HOW TO STOP LOOKING TIRED
You can’t “shrink pores” but you can clean them and make them invisible.
10. MOST COMMON MISTAKES (READ THIS TWICE)
11. FOR THE GENETICALLY UNLUCKY
If your skin is truly messed up — cystic acne, deep scarring, ultra oily — skip the cope and go to a dermatologist. You can fix in 3–6 months what takes most people 3–6 years guessing on Reddit.
Accutane, antibiotics, Tretinoin, laser — it’s out there if you’re done wasting time.
12. LAST SKINCARE STACK (once you’ve cleared)
Forget 15-step routines. Master these 3 first:
- Cleanse (don’t strip it dry)
- Exfoliate (remove dead cells)
- Moisturize (and protect)
Everything else builds on top.
3. MORNING ROUTINE (THE GO OUTSIDE AND TOUCH GRASS STEP)
- Cleanser:
Use a non-drying gentle cleanser (CeraVe Foaming or Vanicream Gel). Avoid that tight, squeaky feeling — that’s your skin barrier dying. - Vitamin C serum (optional but OP):
Boosts glow, fades hyperpigmentation, protects from pollution. - Moisturizer:
Light, non-comedogenic. CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion or La Roche-Posay Toleriane. - Sunscreen (non-negotiable):
SPF 50. No white cast. Look at Eucerin Oil Control, Isntree Watery Sun Gel, or La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400.
If you’re skipping sunscreen, you’re coping.
4. NIGHT ROUTINE
- Cleanse again. No wipes. No exceptions.
- Exfoliation (2–3x per week max):
Use a chemical exfoliant, not a walnut scrub.- BHA (Salicylic Acid) → acne, blackheads
- AHA (Glycolic, Mandelic) → texture, glow
- Treatment layer (if needed):
- Acne? → Benzoyl Peroxide or Adapalene (Differin)
- Hyperpigmentation? → Azelaic Acid, Tranexamic Acid, Niacinamide
- Texture / anti-aging? → Retinol
- Moisturizer (thicker one for repair):
CeraVe PM, Vanicream, or Avene Cicalfate for healing
5. ACNE KILLER STACK
If you’re still dealing with acne in 2025, do this:
- Cleanser: PanOxyl 4% or CeraVe Acne Foaming Cleanser
- AM: Niacinamide + SPF
- PM: Benzoyl Peroxide (start at 2.5%) or Adapalene (Differin)
- Moisturize consistently — drying out your skin makes acne worse
Extra:
- Zinc supplement
- cut dairy for 2 weeks and monitor (triggers hormonal breakouts in some)
If that doesn’t fix it see a derm, get prescribed Tretinoin and Doxycycline. Don't waste years guessing.
6. SKIN STACK (To ascend your skin)
- Vitamin C (AM)
- Mandelic Acid (2x a week PM)
- Niacinamide (AM or PM)
- Retinol (PM 2x/week, slowly ramp up)
- SPF 50 daily
- Sleep 8 hours minimum
- 3L of water daily
- Cut sugar and seed oils as much as possible
- Creatine + Collagen Peptides + Zinc (good stack for skin + bone)
7. HYPERPIGMENTATION / DARK SPOTS FIX
- Azelaic Acid 10–20%
- Niacinamide 5–10%
- Tranexamic Acid (melanin control)
- Retinol / Tretinoin (slow fades)
- SPF or none of this matters
Stay consistent for 6–12 weeks. Don’t jump between products every 2 days.
8. UNDEREYES — HOW TO STOP LOOKING TIRED
- Caffeine eye serums help short-term (The Ordinary, Inkey List)
- Niacinamide + Retinol long-term
- Sleep, salt intake, and hydration are 90% of it
- Hollow eyes? → Consider filler at a clinic. Fat loss under the eyes can't be fixed topically.
- But also remember, this can also be because of reassessed maxilla
You can’t “shrink pores” but you can clean them and make them invisible.
- Chemical exfoliation (salicylic, glycolic)
- Microneedling (dermastamp > roller)
- Tretinoin (real, not over-the-counter junk)
- Professional options:
- Laser resurfacing
- Chemical peels
- Subcision for acne scars
10. MOST COMMON MISTAKES (READ THIS TWICE)
- Using 10 products and getting worse skin
- Skipping sunscreen
- Not moisturizing because you’re “oily”
- Thinking natural = better (half that stuff is trash)
- Changing your whole routine every week
- Not giving actives enough time (8–12 weeks is normal)
- Vitamin C + Niacinamide (AM)
- Retinol (PM)
- Occasional exfoliation (Mandelic / Glycolic)
- Microneedling every 4–6 weeks
- Collagen + Zinc supplements
- SPF 50 every morning — non-negotiable
