Guys so basically im using Cerave Cleanser and Cerave moisturizer i also use some other stuff like tinted sunscrenn and niacinamide and Adapalene. But i heard a lot of people say Cerave s Stuff are so bad. What do tou guys suggest me? Should i change the brand?

Also gpt says that i should stop using Adapalene (retinoid) And niacinamide

Your current routine is NOT suitable while on Accutane, and it’s a big reason why your lips are extremely dry.

Accutane already does the acne-clearing work. Adding the wrong products on top just damages your skin barrier.

❌ What you MUST stop immediately

Adapalene – STOP

Adapalene

  • Accutane + adapalene = double retinoid
  • Causes severe dryness, irritation, cracked lips, redness, higher scar risk
  • There is zero benefit to using it while on Accutane

Niacinamide – Pause it

  • If it’s 10% → too harsh right now
  • Even lower % is unnecessary during isotretinoin
  • Your skin does NOT need “actives” at the moment

What about tinted sunscreen? I feel like it makes my skin more irritated but maybe that's just from the Accutane.

No actives on isotret unless you are micro dosing 5-7.5mg.

La Roche posay Wash, Triple barrier moisturizer, and sunscreen + Lip balm

I mix BB cream with normal sunscreen because regular tinted makes me breakout.

Same situation for me. Just a basic Cetaphil moisturizer/ gentle cleanser in the morning and evening. I've been using tinted spf in the morning for UV protection and to cover up some of the redness and blemishes in my face, but I feel like it's making my face look more irritated but that could also just be from the Accutane so idk if I should stop using it or not.

It causes irritation and has caused redness, but it manly becomes flaky throughout the day and messes with my coloring compared to BB cream.

CC cream is my normal cream I use, I am purging hard on isotret rn and had to move to something stronger for now.

CC cream mogs for minor acne though

CC cream is made for red undertones.

You can also fraud pink undertones with Burts bees tinted lip balm and use a little bit on your skin and blend.
