During the day, I want my skin to look as matte and natural as possible.

Cleanser: Vanicream (Walgreens or Walmart)
Moisturizer: CeraVe Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 (small amount)
SPF: Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen (small amount)

At night wash your face, pat dry and wait 30 minutes. Apply adapalene or tretinoin. Wait 1 hour. Apply CeraVe Healing Ointment. Also apply to your lips.

If you take nights off of retinoids, apply The Ordinary's Matrixyl 10% and NIOD's Copper Amino Isolate Serum. Matrixyl supports elastin, unlike retinoids that support collagen. I've also started applying the Matrixyl to my neck.

If your skin is already in bad shape, chemical exfoliants can improve skin texture faster and tyrosinase inhibitors like Alpha Arbutin can smooth out skin color faster then retinoids. Don't make yourself too white with tyrosinase inhibitors, and maybe avoid all together if you're not white because some people get hypopigmentation.

Beta-carotene really is the truth. For other skincare supplements, see:

Gotu Kola has amazing skin benefits, but is also toxic to the testicles. If your skin is terrible and you need to turn back the clock, then it's worth it. If not, I recommend just sticking with the White Jelly Mushroom.

Do not tell normies about skincare supplements. If women start taking gotu kola, their egos will get way too big.

I used this: https://theordinary.com/en-us/alpha-arbutin-2-ha-serum-100401.html
And this: https://www.cerave.com/skincare/serums/skin-renewing-nightly-exfoliating-treatment

Use the serum, let it dry. Then use the exfoliant. I stopped using it because my skin has gotten pretty white from it.

"In rats who consumed centella asiatica at a dose that impairs fertility (10-100mg/kg aqueous extract), it appears that testosterone is reduced in a dose dependent manner... A later study noted a decrease in testicular weight alongside dose-dependent decreases in sperm cell viabiltiy, motility, and count which were associated with increased apoptosis in sperm cells."

It made my balls lighter and soft to the touch. But, the skin benefits are crazy.

Your moisturizer already has spf so what’s the point in buying/using another spf? Spf 30 is good enough so don’t tell me it’s cuz of that

I don't apply much to make sure it looks like I have nothing on. Too much of the CeraVe moisturizer will make you shiny, and the Supergoop! sunscreen is not moisturizing.

The Supergoop! also acts like makeup. The dimethicone smooths out the edges of skin cells to make my nasolabial folds less deep.

"Dimethicone is a type of silicone-based ingredient widely used in cosmetics. Because of dimethicone’s stellar smoothing properties, it’s commonly found in primers, moisturizers, and sunscreens. Filling in wrinkles and fine lines, dimethicone provides a soft, even surface for makeup application without the heavy feel of more greasy cosmetic ingredients."

Better to apply matrixyl serum + then moisturizer to damp skin to lock in hydration.

The serum has a humectant base, and the ordinary copper peptide plus matrixyl is better if you get one. Good for moisture.

Also there is no contraindication to use that with tret so don’t need to stop using.

Wash face
Rinse
Apply serum
Then moisturizer to lock in all that good stuff.
It will be like a goo on your face.
Wait to dry

Then apply tret

This is will lead to less tret irritation

Should definitely also take nights off tret bc of diminishing returns after a few nights a week and opportunity to use actives.

Use an off night to use an AHA peel like glycolic acid 15-30% 2x weekly

Cycle 3 or 4 days:
1) Off tret no exfoliant
2) off tret exfoliate
3) on tret no exfoliate

for 4 day cycle add one more no active night

Rules for good skin/anti-aging:

Use enough sunscreen, best is mineral tinted 30+ broad spectrum
Tret but don’t overdo
Pack on moisture
AHAs regularly

Bonus:
Peptides (easy)
Vitamin C (great as well)

AHAs regularly
How about BHA? Are those 30% AHA 2% BHA chemical peels cope?

Leave-ON serum, or the peel?

Tbh, I got my best exfoliant results when I combined the glycolic acid serum
1668006699661
and a BHA serum
1668006724531
, first applying AHA and then applying BHA on top of it; leaving it on for the night.

The AHA rinse off if it a high amount

The bha is low u can just leave it

There are combo products but BHA is more for oil and acne

AHA is for texture and anti aging.

If you apply Matrixyl to damp skin and then moisturizer, you're diluting it below the effective concentration.

That The Ordinary exfoliant is way too strong to start with. I like CeraVe's Skin Renewing Nightly Exfoliating Treatment. My skin is sensitive, but that it can handle.

no it's not
fine for you, I prefer products at concentrations that actually work for anti-aging purposes

muted for amateur knowledge.
