roughly 99% of the shit on the internet (including this forum) on skincare is voodoo pseudoscience here are some sources that aren't

Getting started if you know absolutely nothing

This wiki was written by smart people, however, the posts on that sub are filled with shopaholics who max out their boyfriends credit card buying 40 products they'll never use
Just read the wiki.

This blogpost repeats the only skincare tip that's true for everyone when starting a skincare routine. no matter your skin type or concern you must add and test only one product at a time, you can never predict a product will work for you until you test it, because everyone's skin is different, if you buy and start using all your products at once don't be surprised if you break out or nothing happens at all.

Credible people that aren't (mostly) hacks

if you want to do more research or look up a specific issue you're having use these channels, as long as you stay away from their sponsored videos their information is legit and unbiased.

PhD in Chemistry, good info about exfoliation

I only trust scientific papers and my own research. This website is useful for checking what's up in a product - https://incidecoder.com/
