sup boys, I have been using this acne cream called "Acnatac", only because its what the arab doctor on the site gave me he didnt even understand what tret was jfl. Regardless, I don't mind it super much since I used to before when I actually had medium acne because it worked quite well on me , it has clindamycin (1%)+ 0.025% tret. I have been using it again (2 years later lmfao) for about 1,5 months now skin has reacted fine (no suprise) but it hasnt improved super much. I know ur supposed to probably wait to about 3 months but I'm debating to just skip the acnatac and try to source 0.05% tret? since ive been reacting okay on the 0.025 one just minor dryness that my moisturizer helps with.
What im aiming to treat is not active acne in itself its pimples/minor scars under the skin. it quite literally looks like pimples but they are under the skin and i cant even feel them just imagine small red dots, not super much of it even. What I also have been starting to do is microstamp the areas that have these under the skin dots/scars 1x monthly but I just started doing this so cant really say anything about it. I also use the ceraVe moisturizer lotion every morning + 1 hour after the acnatac application at night. (I don't get pimples/acne anymore now after puberty)
what do you boys think, do I just skip the acnatac try to source 0.05 tret? or should 0.025 be enough? and should I maybe start using some kind of cleanser in the morning? like the cerave hydrating one since im on tret?
TLDR: do i hop on 0.05 tret instead of 0.025 since ive been reacting okay 1,5 months in or is 0.025 enough for under the skin pimples/scars. Is it also worth adding a hydrating cleanser in the morning to my routine?
