Two Kaliningrad skinheads - Alexander Gapeev and his like-minded friend - learned that two vagrants had found shelter in one of the basements. Armed with a baseball bat and a folding knife, as well as a video camera, the guys went to Bagration Street. The "enemies of the nation" were taken by surprise.
Of the two captives, Gapeev chose the one who was larger - Shcheglov - for the massacre. He wanted at least in this way to make sure of his own awesomeness. At first Alexander thought to just beat the 35-year-old man to death with a bat and already started to do it, but then the cameraman's handmaiden shouted that the battery was dead. He had to take a break. Back in the basement with a charged battery, Gapeev decided to finish the job as quickly as possible.
"It's the Kaliningrad skinheads.". "Buddy, what are you doing!" - screams the murdered man pitifully, not even defending himself from the knife with which he was stabbed in the neck, in the back, then again in the neck.. "The white shoelaces are mine!" - shouts the murderer enthusiastically, having finished his bloody deed.
The second homeless man was spared, hoping that even if the half-crazy vagrant tried to tell about what had happened, no one would believe him, considering him the ravings of a madman. A few days after the murder Gapeev went to the army - he was not going to "evade" compulsory service. Operatives "took" the suspect right in the military unit.
The cameraman (btw, he was not charged, he was in the case as a witness) posted the resulting video on the Internet. Not surprisingly, this information quickly reached the law enforcement agencies. The rest was a matter of technique.
For murder motivated by ideological hatred, the Kaliningrad Regional Court sentenced Alexander Gapeev to imprisonment for 13 years and six months in a strict regime colony.
"Only God can judge a man!" - Arrogantly dropped Gapeev in response to the judge's question whether he understood the sentence.
I would post the video but mods don't allow gore and I don't want to be warned. You can search for it and find it easily.
