sleep on the floor, or with a pillow under your knees, then it's harder to roll over

Hahaha i could do that but i need like real advice yk
try a good pillow setup and make sure you are actually falling asleep on your back. You could also be moving around naturally or as a result of something like sleep ap requiring you to reposition due to not being able to breath properly.

facial asymmetry usually is caused by the rotation of the bone structure behind the maxilla
not particularly your sleeping habits
but sleeping on the back is definitely better

Put tennis balls in your side pockets

I have been sleeping on my back all my life because I just cant sleep in any other position, and still my face is asymmetric.

Could it be cope? I mean it should be good for spine alignment and posturemaxxing but there’s no way your tongue is staying on the roof of mouth going against gravity, been coping with mouth tape so I don’t mouth breath but def not actively mewing 8 hours

I also started taping my mouth recently in an attempt to make my face less subhuman. I doubt it could work, but I dont lose anything by trying. I do know that I use to breathe through my mouth when sleeping.

Same

definitely keeps you from mouth breathing but there’s no way to tell that we are keeping proper tongue posture

Like I’ll consciously swallow and make a deal with my tongue before dozing off but it’s not like I ever wake up mewing JFL

It definitely works but takes a while

Couldn’t that fuck up your facial symmetry?
if you have great symmetry already and your tongue is pushing upwards with same force everywhere, than ofc it wont fuck up you symmetry. most models sleep on their side / they dont even know about this shit in the first place, but what i have conlcuded from my experience is that my facial symmetry got fucked up because i slept on my stomach with one side of my face putting too much force on pillow

Interesting, are you against sleeeping on your back by chance ? I don’t see a reason to stop unless you have any

no, i had one female friend who had amazing harmony and facial symmetry was insane and when i told her in what position she slept like a autist, she told me she always sleeps on her back, since her childhood. but there was a high iq guy here lurking for some period, i havent seen him a while, nor remember his name, but he said that humans werent designed to sleep on their backs, stone age people slept on their side, with their hand as a pillow and he said that when sleeping on our back, our face can sink back, as the gravity pulls our cheekbones down. i am not against sleeping on your back, but i am against sleeping while touching your jaw or cheekbones hard against something.

So basically stomach sleeping is the worse position, got it.

I started back sleeping (with no pillow) for about 8 months now and I like it I feel it has helped align my spine for better neck posture

I do find myself waking up with a pillow under my head (the one I use under my legs for back pain) and sometimes it will be a side position which I have no control over because it’s how I slept my whole life.

Put a small pillow below your knees and one behind your lower back this will also slightly decompress the spine
